Donating appreciated stock you have held for more than a year generally lets you avoid capital gains tax (please consult your tax advisor).

• $10,000 or more: please contact [email protected]. We will send you instructions to transfer the shares directly to our brokerage account, and we will issue your receipt.
• Under $10,000: use the button below to give through Every.org, a nonprofit giving platform. Enter the ticker symbol and number of shares, and you will receive transfer instructions to give to your broker. Every.org sells the shares as soon as they arrive and passes the full proceeds to us, with no fees. Every.org issues your tax receipt.

We accept Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDC and other cryptocurrencies through Every.org. Every.org converts your gift to U.S. dollars right away and passes it to us (its exchange charges about 1%), and sends you a tax receipt.
